About CTWC Hammers Wrestling
Our Mission:
Carolina Takedown Wrestling Club is committed to growing wrestling in the Midlands of South Carolina. Our club is open to wrestlers from every school, public and private. The City of Columbia, Richland County, and the greater Midlands area needs a united wrestling community, and we hope to provide a space for the best kids to drill together, train together and compete together March through October each year.
Our general practice times run Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00-5:30 in “The Warehouse” (1215 Shop Road, Columbia) as well as “The Barn” at Hammond School (854 Galway Lane, Columbia). Both venues will have two full mats for practices. The practice times during the week are open for 5th-12th grade. As demand allows, open mats for 1st-12th grade will be scheduled on weekends.
What do you need to do to get your wrestlers on the mat?
Wrestlers MUST have an active USA Wrestling Card (folkstyle).
Wrestlers MUST affiliate with CTWC on the USA Wrestling website.
Club practices are $10 drop in, or $125 ($175 per family) a month for all practices & open mats.
Wrestlers can check in online through USA Wrestling to hold their spot for practice.
